POSITION: Spa Receptionist
Location: Glasson Lakehouse, Kilinure, Glasson, Co. Westmeath
Key Areas
- Welcoming guests and managing check-ins/check-outs
- Handling all phone, email, and in-person enquiries professionally
- Managing Spa reservations and treatment scheduling
- Maintaining a clean and well-stocked Spa environment
- Supporting guest service, billing, and retail sales
- Liaising with hotel departments for a seamless Spa experience
Job Purpose
As the first point of contact for Brooks & Co Spa at Glasson Lakehouse, the Spa Receptionist plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to every guest. This role is responsible for managing all reception duties, from reservations and guest queries to departures and billing, while creating a welcoming and relaxing Spa environment. A strong focus on communication, organisation, and guest satisfaction is essential to the success of this role.
Key Deliverables
Guest Service & Reservations
- Ensure all guests receive exceptional service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Answer all phone and email enquiries promptly, professionally, and with warmth
- Collect and analyse guest feedback to continuously improve Spa services and offerings
- Manage Spa treatment reservations and communicate availability and packages clearly
- Welcome guests to the Spa, ensuring a smooth and friendly check-in experience
- Provide refreshments in the relaxation area and support a calm, guest-focused atmosphere
- Maintain a calm, welcoming, and tranquil atmosphere aligned with Spa branding
- Anticipate guest needs and go beyond expectations where possible Promote Spa services and retail products to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
Operational Support
- Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of all Spa areas throughout the day
- Monitor and replenish towel stock and refreshments regularly
- Ensure daily checklists and shift reports are completed accurately and on time
- Stay informed on all Spa treatments and products (training provided)
- Coordinate with other departments on billing, lunch arrangements, and package details
- Accurately process guest departures and billing procedures
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar receptionist role, ideally in a Spa or hospitality setting
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Professional telephone and email etiquette
- Passion for wellness, customer service, and high attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to meet the needs of the business, including weekends and holiday periods
