Accounts Assistant
The Ideal Candidate will have the following requirements: -
- Experience working in an Accounts Department preferably in a hotel industry.
- Must have a knowledge of and a willingness to assist in all accounting functions as assigned and to cover the vacation of colleagues in the accounting department.
- Must be willing to move in rotation through various accounting functions and properties.
- Required knowledge of and the ability to operate computer equipment, Microsoft Office, and Excel. Previous experience with hotel systems including Hotsoft and Volante is beneficial but not vital.
- Strong communication skills to deliver accurate information.
General Work overview
- Audit all income generated by the hotel and produce reports for distribution.
- Reconciliation of daily cash receipts, credit card receipts, and vouchers.
- Supplier payments processing and all associated tasks
- Daily reporting of all corrections and adjustments and circulation of report to relevant management.
- Manage accounts receivable – Issue invoices / chase creditors payments
- Assist with month end stocktakes
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
