Accounts Assistance Receivables
We are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistance Receivables to join our Finance team at the Eurofins Biomnis in Sandyford, Dublin 18. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company in the healthcare sector, and would suit a proactive individual with good analytical and problem solving skills. Job Description
The purpose of the role is to support the billing and credit control function. In addition, assisting in the day-to-day duties and ad-hoc projects in the Finance Department.
Specific Tasks
- Use of Laboratory Information Management Systems in place in the laboratory.
- Help achieve departmental goals & objectives.
- To be aware and to be compliant with of all the documentation related to your Department (Training record, SOP’s, Forms).
- To support and assist in all monthly client billing to meet company deadlines.
- To support and assist in managing debtors’ ledgers for 4 x companies to ensure credit terms are adhered to.
- Deal with customer queries, via email and phone.
- To assist in banking function, including processing credit card payments and client cheques.
- To contribute to project work within the department to further develop efficiencies and processes.
- Timely distribution of client invoices.
- Account reconciliations.
- Regular reporting to Management team.
- Provide ad hoc support as required to the Finance Department
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma/bachelor’s degree in business or finance related field
or
- IATI qualification
or
- Part qualified accountant
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable and proven track record in credit control
- Strong customer relations skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Exchequer an advantage
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing ability
- Enthusiastic with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong IT skills, including intermediate level of Excel
