Sigma Homes is an award winning design and build team based in Douglas.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant with Payroll to join our growing finance team.
The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for managing AP/AR processes, preparing weekly payroll and filing VAT/tax returns.
Key Responsibilities:
· Full AP & AR functions
· Reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts
· Bank reconciliations
· Preparation and submission of VAT returns, RCT, PAYE and other ROS filings
· Payroll processing including expenses
· Proficient in excel
· Work as part of the finance team providing support as required
· Key Requirements:
· Accounting Technician Certificate, other accountancy qualification or strong experience required. HR experience/ qualification an advantage
· Critical thinker with the ability to analyse situations and provide solutions
· Strong Sage experience
· 5+ Years Book-keeping/accounts experience
· Strong written and verbal skills
· Experience using SAGE 50 & Sage Payroll accounting/payroll package essential
· An individual who can multi-task and work to deadlines
Salary €30,000-€40,000 per year DOE
Monday -Friday 38.5 hour week, early finish on a Friday
