Accounts Payable Specialist
Kilmacanogue, Wicklow
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will have responsibility for the following:
Accounts Payable Specialist Duties:
- Matching invoices & delivery dockets in order to process.
- Processing of AP invoices / credit notes on Epos, M4A and Oracle.
- Supplier Set Up's / Updating Bank details
- Monthly creditor reconciliations for all accounts.
- Preparing an Accruals list and Quarter End files for the Financial Controller.
- Preparing the monthly/weekly payment run -
- Preparing the commission figures for the various concessions within the Avoca branches.
Key Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years accounts payable or similar experience.
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Be professional, punctual and organized.
- Proactive, practical, and flexible approach to work
- Ability to prioritise tasks and use discretion to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient IT Skills, (particularly Microsoft Excel)
- Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
