Are you detail-oriented, trustworthy, and passionate about numbers? We’re a small, dynamic company looking for an Accounts Person to help manage our day-to-day financial operations.
Key responsibilities:
· Bank reconciliations/ Bank Creditors/Debtors
· Inputting Sales and Purchases ledgers
· Posting receipts & payments.
· Debtor Payment Collections.
· Payroll processing and payments.
· Preparation of weekly/monthly payment runs
· Expense Analysis Reports
· Resolving outstanding inaccuracies/discrepancies with supplier statements
· Posting of Credit Card transactions and reconciliation of accounts, ensuring VAT is claimed where applicable
· Preparation of Accruals
· Revenue returns VAT/VIES/Intrastat
· Processing of employee expenses claims
· Reconciliation of all control accounts, verification balances and resolving outstanding items.
· Preparation and submission of VAT3, P30 & P35 returns.
· Processing EFT payments.
· Working with auditors to provide information for end of year accounts.
· General office duties as needed

Requirements for this job
· 5 years minimum bookkeeping experience. Would suit an accounting technician.
· Detail orientated person.
· Proficiency using accounting software and other IT applications including Excel, Word etc
· Proficiency in computerised payroll software.
· Ability to work on your own initiative and multi-task when required.
· Good communication skills, oral and written and have an overall attention to detail.
· Carry out assignments in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
· The right candidate needs to be capable of dealing with clients and suppliers on a daily basis and establishing and maintaining strong relationships .
· Punctual.
· Ability to take instruction.
· Good communicator, able to convey information in a clear, simple and warm manner
We hope to begin interviews week commencing 30/06/25.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €45,000.00 per year
