This is a great opportunity for experienced candidates to join a company celebrating over 40 years as the leading provider of building, trade and plumbing products in the southeast, in addition to electrical and soft furnishing products.
This full-time job will entail working 39 hours per week and this is a five-day week role.
Duties
These are administrative positions, and you will report to the Financial Controller.
As part of your role, you will be:
Responsible for compiling individual sales reports for all departments; expert electrical, building materials & timber and shop, and emailing reports to managers daily.
Completing cash reconciliation.
Preparing reports and tills.
Investigating any anomalies and reporting any queries to management.
Updating the cash book.
Confidently handling large quantities of cash.
Responding to enquiries promptly & accurately.
Assisting in the company stocktakes.
Required to be flexible in this position and must be prepared to undertake such other work as may be assigned to you by the company from time to time.
Additional duties
Include cover for credit control, switchboard and general functions assigned by the financial controller
The ideal candidate will have the following Skills & Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
A proven ability to be able to organise your time while maintaining attention to detail in a busy work environment.
Good telephone etiquette and manner.
You possess and radiate a high degree of energy and can work towards goals without constant supervision.
Must be efficient with a proven track record in meeting deadlines.
You persist with a task or query through to completion, ensuring any follow-up that is required is carried out.
Experience in cash handling is essential.
