Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional entry-level administrator to join our membership services team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining accurate member records, and handling confidential and sensitive data with the highest level of integrity and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update AGSI member records in the CRM/database system accurately and promptly.
- Handle member correspondence via email, phone, and mail, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Support the processing of new member applications, renewals, and terminations.
- Assist with data entry, mail-outs, and report generation as required.
- Uphold data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal policies when handling personal and sensitive information.
- Help prepare materials and logistics for member events and association meetings.
- Organisation of the Annual Delegate Conference which involves a series of carefully timed and organised tasks arranged to ensure contractual deadlines are met. This event requires flexible working pattern from potential employee.
- Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, photocopying, archiving, and document binding.
- Escalate queries or data breaches appropriately and in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities with the ability to multitask and manage individual workload aswell as team tasks ( Conference).
- Excellent Phone manner and ability to tailor conversations is crucial to this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems (desirable).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Previous office or administrative experience (paid or voluntary) is desirable but not essential.

A background or experience in insurance/claims process would be beneficial but not a prerequisite to applying.
