Sherpa Kids Lucan provides before school care, after school care and holiday care to children during term time and non-term time (school holidays).
We are looking for a suitable Childcare Programme assistant with a commitment for delivering a quality, dependable school age service. This role requires someone who is dedicated to forming strong partnerships with their staff teams, with schools, families and with children.
Working hours: Full-time7.30am to 9.30am and 1 to 6pm Monday to Friday. Minimum of 30 hours per week (split shift) during school term and full days during holiday care. Part-time Monday - Friday 1 /1.30 pm-6.00 pm (afterschool care) during school term Minimum 20 hours per week.

Requirements of the Afterschool Assistant:
- Qualified in Childcare - preferable
- Experienced in childcare - minimum 1 year
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities of the Afterschool assistant:
- Assist in the effective management of the day-to- day running of breakfast & afterschool Sherpa Kids Programme
- Ensuring that all children attending receive optimal care at all times, with a focus on a safe and secure environment delivered through a structured, well balanced program.
