JCPS Mechanical Ltd require a BIM Lead to join our team, to ensure high quality, fully coordinated BIM models are developed and maintained in line with project goals, company standards and client requirements. This role is a full time permanent position and will be based out of our head office/warehouse in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11.
Job Details
· Lead the BIM delivery strategy for all mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with client and project BIM requirements.
· Manage and oversee the production, coordination, and delivery of BIM models and associated data throughout project lifecycles.
· Develop and maintain the company’s BIM standards, templates, workflows, and execution plans (BEPs).
· Facilitate model coordination and clash detection processes across disciplines using Navisworks or similar tools.
· Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries from internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
· Chair BIM coordination meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
· Support the development and training of BIM Coordinators and Designers within the business.
· Evaluate and implement emerging digital construction technologies to improve productivity and model accuracy.
· Ensure quality control, version management, and proper use of Common Data Environments (CDEs).
· Collaborate closely with the Design, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
Requirements
· Minimum 5 years experience in a similar BIM role within the mechanical or building services industry.
· Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 (or similar platforms).
· Strong understanding of mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
· Knowledge of construction processes, standards, and digital workflows.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills
· Ability to drive innovation.
