We are currently seeking a responsible and professional Bus Driver to operate a 55-seat coach transporting groups of international English language students in the Drogheda area. This role plays a key part in creating a positive and safe experience for visiting students during their stay in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 55-seater bus, transporting large student groups to and from schools, excursions, and accommodation
- Provide a welcoming and professional presence for international students
- Ensure punctual, safe, and comfortable journeys
- Perform routine checks and maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Communicate with programme coordinators regarding schedules and any issues
- Comply with all transport regulations and school safeguarding policies
Requirements:
- Valid driving licence
- Experience driving large coaches or buses, ideally with youth or student groups
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly when dealing with non-native English speakers
- Professional, punctual, and safety-focused
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the Drogheda area and common excursion destinations
- Experience working with international student programmes
