Home Building Solutions are seeking skilled and experience carpenter/joiner with the ability to carry out both first fix and second fix carpentry work. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently or as part of a team on residential and/or commercial projects. Attention to detail, precision, and a solid understanding of construction practices are essential. Working 39 hours per week, based in Navan Meath, also working in surround areas.

Key Responsibilities:
First Fix Carpentry:
- Constructing stud walls, staircases, door frames, and roof structures
- Installing floor joists, roof trusses, and partition walls
- Fitting timber frameworks and structural supports
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Second Fix Carpentry:
- Installing skirting boards, architraves, doors, and ironmongery
- Fitting kitchen units, cabinetry, and shelving
- Laying flooring and finishing internal woodwork
- Ensuring high-quality finishes and working to exact measurements

Requirements:
- Proven experience in first and second fix carpentry
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans
- Own tools and reliable transport preferred
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards on-site
Work based in Navan and surrounding areas.
