We are looking for skilled Chopper Machine Operator to join our team in tipperary.
Responsibilities
Operate a variety of modern agricultural machinery including forage harvesters, balers, tractors, and excavators.
Contribute to the silage operation: cutting, carting, and baling forage with precision and care.
Perform basic daily maintenance checks and assist with on-farm repairs.
Support seasonal operations such as spreading, sowing, and paddock prep.
Participate in earthworks and drainage projects during the off-season using excavators and graders.
Communicate effectively with the farm team to ensure smooth workflow and safety.
Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated experience operating large-scale agricultural machinery
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Mechanically minded with basic diagnostic and repair ability
Reliable and self-motivated with attention to detail
Experience with GPS-guided machinery preferred
Excavator operation experience highly regarded
