Job Summary
ÉireComposites currently has a vacancy for a part time mid-career EH&S officer. The role will provide autonomy to manage all of the companies EHS needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting and maintaining Environmental, Health & Safety standards, compliance and behaviour within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all tasks in accordance with cleaning procedure provided ensuring a high degree of cleanliness and presentation is achieved.
- Complete cleaning records.
- Operate cleaning equipment for all surfaces and floors required throughout the factory as needed.
- Ensure correct materials and equipment are in stock.
- Ensure that correct cleaning methods and company cleaning procedure is followed at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
- Dispose of waste correctly as per our Environmental procedures in a safe manner as necessary and at the end of each shift,
- Report any equipment defects promptly.
- Comply with Environmental, Health and Safety at work procedures.
- Ensure all PPE is worn where applicable.
- Report any accidents, near misses and incidents to the Operations manager.
- May be required to work alone or as part of a team.
- Participate in training and development activities

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Past cleaning experience is desirable however not essential.
Skills
- Good level of verbal and written english is required for the role.
- Positive can -do attitude and self-motivated.
- Ability to work as part of a team, cross functional teams and on their own initiative in a busy environment.
- Open to ongoing learning, feedback, development and cross training.
- Fluency in Irish is desirable but not essential
