Receptionist Required
Brampton Care are expanding our Admin team. We are a CARF accredited facility and operate a nursing home along with a soley dedicated Neurorehabilitation facility.
We are located just off the motorway in Oranmore and this makes us accessible to travel from a variety of locations.
The Role
.The Clinical Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of clinical and administrative functions within the healthcare facility. This role ensures smooth coordination between medical staff, patients, and administrative teams, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, improving efficiency, and supporting high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange Staff Training and ensure training records are up to date and in line with HIQA standards. This includes the training matrix.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clinical staff, management,
- Manage clinical rosters on a bi weekly basis inc updating sick leave, Approving payroll etc
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying
- Support management with general clerical duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferably in a healthcare or residential care setting).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Friendly, empathetic, and calm under pressure.
- A team player with a positive and professional attitude.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Desirable
- Experience working in a nursing home or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards and basic understanding of elderly care.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €15.00-€17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
