Job purpose:
As Commercial Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving the commercial success of our ferry operations across routes between Ireland, the UK, and France. Acting as the main point of contact between marketing, operations, and store teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring pricing, promotions, and customer experiences are delivered consistently and effectively. This role blends strategic coordination with hands-on execution — from managing promotional materials and campaigns to tracking competitor activity and supporting new store launches.
This is a full-time position based at our Dublin office, with regular weekly travel across our ferry network.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing
- Regular reviews of the entire customer journey including both Digital & Physical to maintain strong brand presence and identify opportunities to drive penetration, items per ticket, Average Ticket Value, Spend and positive customer experience.
- Ensure seamless execution of regular local marketing activities in partnership with the Marketing Manager based in London, by following the marketing calendar and the marketing budget.
- Pricing and promotion collateral to be executed and associated standards maintained throughout the year. Identify any opportunities for additional customer facing collateral.
- Manage all promotional signage and labels for each store in line with marketing strategy and approved messaging.
- Work closely with store managers on all POS updates (merchandising updates, price updates, reorder broken POS, order merchandising tools and equipment)
- Support the Marketing Manager with ad hoc requests and other marketing activities.
Store
- Work closely with operations and store managers on ranges/price updates, promotions, and any other relevant topics.
- Work with local Companies on staff trainings, staff incentives and pax tastings
- Monitor competitor activity with monthly price surveys and regular visits to competitor ships and port side stores.
Projects
- Support with all Projects including new shop and route launches.
- Working across departments to support delivery of project action times within target date.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail Marketing or Commercial (travel retail/retail experience is a bonus)
- Commercial Marketing Experience
- Successful trackrecord of delivering quality campaigns in a timely and measurable manner.
