GMC are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team.
GMC Utilities Group is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Manager with strong NEC 4 Option C experience to join our team for one of Ireland's largest and most high-profile infrastructure projects. This is a key strategic role, requiring on-site presence in the Dublin region. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in utility and road infrastructure, with a deep understanding of Design & Build (D&B) contracts

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Managing commercial aspects of large-scale infrastructure projects under NEC 4 Option C.
Overseeing cost planning, forecasting, and value engineering.
Leading contract administration and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Providing input to strategic decisions affecting commercial performance and risk.
Supporting tender submissions, subcontractor procurement, and pricing strategies.
Engaging collaboratively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Managing change control, claims, and dispute resolution.
Delivering accurate and timely reports on project financials.
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:
Proven experience as a Commercial Manager on large infrastructure projects.
Deep knowledge of NEC 4 Option C contracts is essential.
Extensive experience in utility and road infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of Design & Build contracts.
Ability to be based in or travel to Dublin region during the work week.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
