Job description
To be eligible to participate on a Community Employment scheme you must be over 21 years of age, unemployed and have been in receipt of an Irish welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
Applicants must provide suitable references and be prepared to undertake Garda Vetting.
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career path.
Based at Muirhevnamor Community Gardens, Dundalk, you will be required to work 19.5 hours per week over 5 days but some flexibility may be needed. You will be responsible for the upkeep of buildings, gardens, landscaping projects and the general maintenance of the premises inside and out to create a safe environment.
