Job Title: Care Coordinator / Care Shceduler

Bluebird Care Galway are seeking enthusiastic, positive and highly organised people to join our expanding team in Galway City. The Care Coordinator / Scheduler plays a key role in the successful day to day running our business.
We are looking for candidates who have excellent interpersonal skills and a warm flexible communication style.
Your responsibilities as a Care Coordinator / Scheduler will include . . .
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, customers and their family members, and with HSE Health and Social Care Services personnel.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to members of the public & colleagues
- Provide administration support and effectively co-ordinate work schedules
- Work on the On-Call service on a rota basis with your colleagues
- Respond to all customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Be the first point of contact for Customers & Staff
- Provide support to the senior management team
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a Care Assistant is very desireable but not essential
- A recognised qualification in office administration or relevant experience
- Min 1 years’ experience working within a homecare office setting desirable
- Strong computer literacy skills essential
- Must have the ability to work under pressure, have the ability to manage their own workloads and whilst also being a team player
- Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Employment Type
- Full-time role: Office hours 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (start & finish times may be flexible by agreement)
- Full Driving license desirable
- On-Call (rota basis)
- Permanent & Fulltime position
