Job Title: Part-Time Scheduler
Location: Clonshaugh Depot, Dublin 17 (with occasional support to our Rathcoole sub-depot)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Scheduler to support our operational planning. This role is central to ensuring the efficient deployment of drivers and vehicles across our daily services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in transport operations and a working knowledge of tachograph rules and driving hours legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain daily and weekly rosters for drivers across multiple services
- Monitor driver availability, holiday requests, and absences to ensure continuous coverage
- Ensure all schedules are fully compliant with EU and National Regulations on driver hours and rest periods
- React quickly to operational changes, including sickness or breakdowns, and update the roster accordingly
- Communicate rosters and shift changes clearly to drivers via phone, WhatsApp, and email
- Work closely with the Chief Executive and wider operations team to ensure the timely delivery of all services
- Maintain accurate records of shifts, hours worked, and CPC requirements
Essential Experience & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a transport scheduling or rostering role is essential
- Working knowledge of EU and Irish legislation on tachograph hours and driver rest periods is a must
- Strong administrative and planning skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with driving staff
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, email, and transport systems (rostering software an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
- CPC Transport Manager qualification is desirable but not essential

Pay: Up to €20.00 per hour
