Nursing responsibilities:
- responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the surgery
- meet and greet patients
- proficient at exact dental computer system and entering notes
- Taking medical histories
- Chairside assistance
- Making next appointments for patients and taking payments
- need to be able to start and complete working day in an very organised and methodical fashion.Also stock taking and ordering and dental supplies that are low in stock. Always a step ahead in preparation.
- Proficient at organising and sterilising all dental instruments
- Have a full understanding of LDU and run it on a daily basis
- Cross infection control should be of very high standards
- Auditing machinery and ensuring daily & weekly tasks are done
- Comfortable staying on after hours if emergencies crop up
Nursing desirable criteria: dental experience and qualification is preferred
