Are you looking for a hands-on, rewarding role where you can learn new skills and be part of a friendly, supportive team? Valerie’s Clothes Care, a busy and well-established dry cleaning and laundry service in Virginia, Co. Cavan, is looking for a Dry Cleaning & Laundry Assistant to join our team.
What You'll do:
- Prepare clothing for dry cleaning and laundry, including checking garments and treating stains.
- Operate pressing equipment to give clothes a professional finish.
- Assist customers at the counter – taking orders, answering queries, and handling payments.
- Learn about different fabrics and the best cleaning methods, and products, for each.
- Hand scrub and pre-treat clothing as needed.
- Prepare garments for collection, ensuring they are perfectly presented.
- Keep the workspace clean, tidy, and safe.
What We're Looking for:
- No experience required – training will be provided.
- Friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
- Willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Reliable, with good time management skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and independently.
