Part-Time Early Years Educator – Mullingar
Location: Grovelands Childcare, Mullingar
Hours: 22.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:00pm
Grovelands Childcare is currently recruiting a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our award-winning team in Mullingar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children’s health, welfare, and development
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities using the Aistear curriculum
- Observe, record, and assess each child's progress and development
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members
- Uphold Grovelands’ standards, policies, and procedures to maintain best practices in childcare
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A genuine passion and love for working with children
- A minimum Level 5 childcare qualification (as per DCEDIY recognised list); Level 7+ is an advantage
- At least 1 year of paid experience in a childcare setting
- Knowledge and experience working with Siolta, Aistear, and TUSLA regulations (2016)
- Additional certifications in First Aid, Manual Handling, and Food Safety (advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland (Sponsorship not available)
