Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join our Team in Ireland. You will have experience in a similar role and will be joining a highly motivated and dynamic team. Our office is based in County Meath but this role is covering the territory surrounding Portlaoise.
Job purpose/ Key responsibilities
- Ensure there is a seamless link between the sales process, logistics and after sales service for Ultrasound and X-ray imaging markets
- Provision of service back-up for customers including:
> Diagnosis and repair of all customer ultrasound, X-ray, Endoscopy and medical equipment
> IT network issue resolution
> Site visits to customer premises
- Completion of all aspects of service calls, including all necessary paperwork and update of business processes to support:
- Preform onsite repairs/ maintenance visits
- Accurate Stock Management
- Maintain and develop the IMV brand in the marketplace
- Adherence to Service processes and effective, high quality service by utilising existing KPIs and focusing on continuous improvement
- General admin duties as required
- Promote IMV values to all customers, clients and staff
- Develop the service business in the territory
- Occasional overnight stays possible
Education/Experience
- Relevant 3rd level education
- Previous experience in a service environment
- X-ray/Ultrasound/Endoscopy/medical device equipment experience advantageous
- Good understanding of IT systems
- Previous customer facing experience desirable
