The role of Finance Administrator is to support the Finance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the finance, payroll and company secretariat functions of the company. The CEO is responsible, with the support of the Finance Manager, for ensuring the ongoing operation of:
Swan Regional Youth Service’s
- Governance and Legal Status Requirements (Company Secretary)
- Financial Reporting and Systems
- Risk Management (Finance)
- Procurement and Payments
- Financial Control and Capital Funding
- Human Resources, Payroll and Travel and Subsistence
- Charity Regulator Authority Governance Code
Furthermore, ensuring the day to day and long-term management of Swan Regional Youth Service finance in accordance with the best practice and the organization’s ethos.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Finance Management
To support the Finance Manager with
- Reporting to the Board of Management.
- Reporting to all relevant funders (Quarterly, yearly & once off small grant funds).
- Managing day-to-day finance tasks: invoices, payments, purchase orders.
- Preparing monthly reconciliations, salary data, grant reports, pension payments, management of accounts.
- Supporting grant budgeting and year-end accounts preparation for auditors.
- Ensuring the implementation and monitoring of the Charity Regulator Governance Code.
- In conjunction with the CEO, Finance Manager and Senior Management Teams, managing the accounts and yearly budget and making all necessary returns in a timely efficient manner to all relevant funders.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: €34,479.00-€47,346.85 per year
