The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job
- Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations including F&B service techniques and guest interaction.
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written, with guests and employees.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
- Knowledge of both bar & floor service essentail.
Minimum requirements:
- Position requires 2 years previous Food & Beverage experience.
Skills to be demonstrated at all times:
- Awareness of the daily business at all times.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Gastro pub trade and late-night venues from an operational viewpoint.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of different cuisines.
- Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure at all times.
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Demonstrate an eye for detail and cleanliness.
- Knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and beer is an advantage.
- A passion for delivering exceptional food & beverage experience to all patrons
- Well presented and highly organised with a calm disposition
