Server wanted for a vegetarian food stall in The Galway Market. MUST BE AVAILABLE SATURDAYS.
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team where each person carries out all serving duties. Training will be given. Our food is cooked, packaged and sold from our kitchen on the west side of the city Tuesday to Friday. On Saturdays we sell our food Hot & Chilled at the market. Some food experience is essential but training will be given.
General duties: Preparing, heating and packing Hot food for customers. Selling ready meals chilled. Cleaning, food safety and all aspects of kitchen hygiene are part of the role.
Skills required: Customer service; Time management; organisation skills; attention to detail; self-motivated, ability to work on your own and as part of a team; communication skills; good verbal and numeracy literacy. Ability to sustain focus and attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow procedures and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of the food truck and equipment
- Manage stock and restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
