The Role
We’re looking for an exceptional Dental Receptionist & Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves connecting with people, and is motivated to help our practice succeed. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks and supporting revenue growth through excellent patient engagement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Experience Champion: Greet patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression. Handle inquiries, appointment scheduling, and follow-ups with care and efficiency.
- Revenue Generation: Actively promote services, treatment plans, and membership programs to enhance patient uptake and drive practice growth. Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage patient records, appointment schedules, and insurance claims with precision using [Insert Practice Management Software, e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental]. Maintain organised systems to keep the practice running smoothly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional care delivery.
- Customer Care Advocacy: Resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities to build loyalty.
- Marketing Support: Assist with patient retention initiatives, such as follow-up calls, email campaigns, or social media engagement, to boost patient satisfaction and referrals.

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Aerona, Dentally, Exact) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to promote services or products, with a focus on enhancing patient engagement and revenue.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle patient concerns or operational challenges with tact and efficiency.
