Retail Supervisor – All Seasons Flowers (Lucan, Dublin)

At All Seasons Flowers, every bouquet tells a story. We are seeking a capable, committed Retail Supervisor to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer experiences every day. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role in a beautiful but busy environment. As the operational lead for the retail floor, you’ll ensure high standards are consistently maintained and the team runs smoothly, especially during our peak floral periods.
About the Role
As Retail Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee the retail floor and coordinate daily activity between our florists, drivers and management.
- Support the smooth operation of the shop while driving sales across daily orders, weddings, events and seasonal occasions.
- Ensure the shop is always visually inspiring and welcoming for customers.
This role suits someone mature, commercially minded and enthusiastic about leading a team in a fast-paced, people-focused environment with a sense of fun and vibrancy in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the retail team to deliver warm, professional customer service.
- Build strong working relationships with florists, drivers, and the management team.
- Maintain stock rotation, merchandising standards, and the daily shop flow.
- Ensure clear communication between our Lucan shop and Straffan studio for smooth coordination.
- Confidently use and support others in using systems such as POS, order management tools and spreadsheets.
- Train and coach new retail staff, offering real-time feedback and support.
- Monitor sales performance and costs, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
- A hands-on leader who takes ownership and follows through on responsibilities.
- Commercially aware, confident in selling and mindful of cost control.
- A warm, clear communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Organised, observant and self-motivated.
- Physically comfortable with lifting buckets, managing stock and keeping the floor tidy.
- A genuine interest in flowers, thoughtful gifting and creating beautiful spaces.
Hours & Commitment
- Full-time role across 5 days per week (within our 7-day trading week).
- Flexibility is essential during peak floral periods including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas.
- Occasional early starts or evening shifts, particularly during busy periods or for special events.
- This is a floor-based leadership role requiring reliability and consistent presence.
