Job Title: General Operator
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 10:00 – 18:30
- Friday: 10:00 – 17:30
(Shift allocation based on business needs and employee development opportunities.)
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on individual eager to gain experience across various areas, including manufacturing, warehouse operations, logistics, and engineering support. This role provides valuable opportunities for career progression in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

There will opportunities to develop skills in materials handling, machine operation, order processing, and general factory operations for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in general manufacturing operations, including materials handling, machine operation, and various production processes.
- Assist with stock handling and organization, ensuring materials are correctly labelled and stored.
- Support manufacturing teams in preparing and processing stainless steel, mild steel and Aluminium materials.
- Develop and learn to operate various machines and equipment.
- Carry out basic quality control checks on finished products.
- Work alongside engineers and team leaders to solve production challenges.
- Follow health & safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment, min 1 year.
- Interest in logistics, manufacturing, or problem-solving.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy essential.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Education to Leaving Certificate completed (Maths and English essential).
- Machine or driving experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Fluent written and spoken English essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be Physically fit to work in an environment that involves continuous lifting/moving of Stainless & Mild steel sheets and steel components (approx. 25 Kg’s).
