Head Baker-We are actively looking for a Head Baker with a strong track record in the industry to join our busy gluten free bakery. A technical bakery background would be highly advantageous.
Position-Head Baker will be primarily involved in the production of all products, with requirement for involvement in and contributing to new product development.
Responsibilities-To ensure products are made to the required specification and are safe for consumers.
Scaling, mixing, depositing, proofing, baking of all products in line with company recipes and systems.
Continually monitor processes and identify areas for improvement.
Make recommendations for the improvement and follow-up on implementation.
Ensure customer requirements regarding Products, Processes, Food Safety and Quality are implemented.
Ensure completion of paperwork in real time and efficiently.
Contribute towards new product developments, working with existing and new customers to deliver on new product briefs.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and ensuring the availability of baking materials.
Work as part of a small, close-knit team, supporting colleagues where necessary and contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere.
Requirements-Proven experience as a baker, with a strong focus on new product development.
Passion for baking with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work early morning shifts.
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
Good communication and teamwork skills. Fluency in English
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Salary- €50,000 - €70,000 depending on experience
