About the Role:
MedGen Healthcare Ireland is currently hiring Healthcare Assistants for multiple roles in County Meath, County Westmeath and nearby areas. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to residents
- Build positive relationships with residents by offering companionship and emotional support
- Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities while maintaining their dignity
- Help organise and participate in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Nurse in Charge or management
Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 completed in Healthcare or equivalent (or currently in progress)
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting or healthcare environment as a Healthcare Assistant
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Must have valid eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland (please note: sponsorship is not available)
