- This position requires a candidate who gives the warmest of welcomes in a professional and confident manner.
- Tend to guests promptly, ensuring they are seated in a timely manner on arrival.
- Be confident in answering guest's queries.
- Ensure reservation requests are met at all times and passing on information such as special requests to relevant departments.
- Have good knowledge of the menu and be a wizard at explaining our concept.
- Maintain a high level of personal presentation.
- Be flexible to assist in other departments as required.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Have a working knowledge of Collins or similar system is a distinct advantage.
- Must have a good working knowledge of food and beverage.
- Must have strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Be flexible to working hours - mid week and weekend, up to 5 days per week.
- Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Must be standards driven and detail-oriented.
- Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible with regards to working hours and available at weekends.
