The Mc Gowan Family has three hospitality businesses in the heart of Drogheda. Peggy Moores, Sunday Street and Scholars Townhouse Hotel. All three venues are uniquely different with passionate teams full of experience in the food beverage and accommodation industry. This role requires the successful applicant to check customers in and out of Sunday Street and Peggy Moores. We are seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our team!
*Responsibilities:*
- Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service, answering guest queries and concerns
- Clearly communicate house rules, policies, and local information to guests
- Handle administrative tasks, such as:
- Responding to emails and messages
- Managing food and beverage bookings
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Work collaboratively with pub staff and other team members to ensure a seamless experience.
*Requirements:*
- Excellent social skills and ability to connect with diverse guests
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and rules
- Proficient in computer skills, including email management and administrative tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, approachable demeanor and a passion for delivering great service
*Desirable Experience:*
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles
- Knowledge of hospitality software and systems (or willingness to learn)
- Food & Beverage Service experience
