HR Specialist
As HR Specialist with BMC Manufacturing, you will contribute to the recruitment, onboarding, and the development of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for the growing number of employees working at their plants in Ashbourne, Ballycoolin, Damastown and Kells. Based in Ballycoolin you will join the People and Culture Team who are spearheading and resourcing the company’s major expansion in 2025.
BMC manufacture world class Switchgear for use in Data Centres and Commercial Buildings world-wide.
The HR Specialist will deliver expert HR advice to employees and assist with key people initiatives throughout their lifecycle with the firm. You will also support the People and Culture Team on key strategic people projects for the future.
Key Responsibilities
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of the firm’s (HRIS) and seek opportunities to create and improve our processes.
· Manage new joiner induction and on boarding.
· Ensure HR Policies and processes are up to date.
· Assist with the monitoring and process requests for all types of leave
· Prepare and issue employee change documentation related to all stages of the employment lifecycle.
· Support the wider HR Team on various ad-hoc projects.
· Assist the HR Team with the Performance Management Processes and Employee reviews.
· Prepare reports from available data, analyse and present to the HR Team.
We Require
- Two years’ experience in a HR administration role
- Third level qualification, ideally in HR
- Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Select HR (HRIS)
- Strong IT skills especially Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills
