Location: Onsite in our Loughrea Facility (5 Days Per Week)
As our Inventory and Logistics ERP Implementation Lead, your key responsibilities will be:
Inventory and Logistics Strategy & Governance
Defining and implementing inventory and logistics strategies aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.
Establishing and enforcing governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for inventory control, warehousing, and distribution.
SAP ERP Implementation
Leading the inventory and logistics workstream within the SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP programme, aligned to an “Adopt not Adapt” methodology.
Collaborating with SAP consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define warehouse structures, batch management, and logistics execution processes.
Compliance & Traceability
Ensuring inventory and logistics processes comply with GxP regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11.
Overseeing batch traceability, lot genealogy, and audit trail implementation across warehouse and distribution operations.
Stakeholder Engagement
Acting as the primary liaison between supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and IT teams for all inventory and logistics-related matters.
Facilitating workshops and training sessions to promote process adoption and compliance.
Operational Excellence
Monitor and report on inventory accuracy, warehouse KPIs, and logistics performance.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise space utilisation, picking efficiency, and shipping accuracy.
Education & Experience:
Over three years of Supply Chain experience in a senior warehousing role, ideally in a regulated pharmaceutical/medical device environment.
SAP certification or logistics/supply chain credentials (desirable).
Experience in regulated pharmaceutical or CDMO environments using SAP ERP systems.
Hands-on experience with inventory and logistics functions including warehouse management and traceability.
Familiarity with data governance across inventory and supply chain processes.
Experience with AI/ML tools for inventory optimisation and logistics planning (desirable).
Skills & Competencies:
Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA or SAP Cloud ERP, particularly in regulated pharmaceutical or CDMO environments.
Hands-on experience with:
Warehouse Management (WM or EWM)
Batch/lot management and shelf-life control
QR/barcode scanning and handheld device integration
Carrier integration and shipping execution
Familiarity with SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard methodologies.
Strong understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, and ALCOA++ principles.
Experience supporting Computer System Validation (CSV) and audit readiness.
Ability to define and enforce data standards, validation rules, and stewardship models.
Experience with batch traceability, lot genealogy, and cross-site inventory consistency.
Proven track record leading inventory and logistics workstreams in large-scale ERP implementations.
Skilled in data cleansing, mapping, and transformation strategies.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
