We're looking for a smart, capable IT professional to take ownership of core IT operations and user support across our business. This person will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day systems while also contributing to improvement and automation projects that help the business scale and move faster. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience with Microsoft 365 tools — including Power Automate or Power Apps. The successful candidate will report to the IT Manager and act as a trusted go-to for solving IT issues, improving processes, and delivering dependable internal support across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
User & Systems Support:
- Provide Level 1 & 2 support for hardware, software, O365, and connectivity issues.
- Set up and manage user accounts, devices, and licenses (including onboarding/offboarding).
- Support and maintain rugged handheld devices (Android) used in operational environments.
- Manage IT assets, printers, and endpoint devices across multiple locations.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers where required.
- Support on-site users with reliable and responsive service.
Infrastructure & Operations:
- Maintain device health, Windows updates, antivirus tools, and backup systems.
- Oversee regular Windows updates and system patching across all devices.
- Support Windows 10/11 environments, printers, wireless, and networking.
- Monitor systems and respond to alerts (e.g. antivirus, firewall, endpoint security).
- Keep internal IT documentation up to date and improve where possible.
Automation & Improvement:
- Identify and automate repetitive IT or business tasks where appropriate.
- Build or support low-code solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps
. • Document and share new processes or tools to help streamline day-to-day operations.
- Support small internal projects (migrations, systems upgrades, integrations
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3–5 years in a hands-on IT support or systems admin role.
- Strong working knowledge of: o Windows 10/11, O365, Teams, SharePoint. o Active Directory / Azure AD (basic admin). o Networking fundamentals (IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN).
o Android device setup and management (rugged handhelds or mobile device management).
- Experience supporting users across different departments or business units.
- Exposure to scripting (PowerShell or similar) is a plus.
- Experience with Power Automate / Power Apps is a strong advantage.
- Able to work independently, prioritise tasks, and follow issues through to resolution.
