The Job:
The main objective of the role is to provide on-going coordination support within the Staff Learning and Development function. This role primarily focuses on the coordination and administration of an internal programme of staff training, in a professional, efficient and friendly manner. This role also provides coordination and administrative support for all Inspire activities – RCSI’s Health and Wellbeing programme.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Schedule ongoing programme of staff development opportunities for both online and in person delivery.
  • Maintain and ensure efficient systems for training enrolment, waitlisting, attendance/completion tracking and evaluation records
  • Advertise all courses on a variety of internal communications channels including designing and creating accompany visuals to promote training provision
  • Liaise with internal and external training providers to ensure smooth day to day running of programmes.
  • Manage all L&D related payments and billing queries in a timely manner
  • Manage the Staff L&D mailbox
  • Administer a range of funding supports arrangements and training reimbursements in partnership with our Finance and Fees teams
  • Coordinate a range of health and wellbeing activities and communications through the Inspire programme and the Healthy Campus committee
  • Provide a friendly, focused and effective service in responding to both internal and external queries
  • Provide administrative support for L&D initiatives as required
  • Undertake other projects and duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned to you from time to time
Person Specification
Essential
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, in particular MS Excel and MS Forms, experience with Virtual Learning Environments such as Moodle and HRIS systems
  • Proven record for attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
