Job responsibilities
Management of the stock stored in the HQ and distribution processes to meet the demands while looking to minimise cost.
Coordinating with various departments to determine necessary materials and items for the production schedules and sales commitments.
Developing and implementing efficient stock control, handling, and distribution policies to optimize space, labor, and financial resources.
Advising the purchasing department on the required types, quality, and quantities of goods, ensuring timely availability.
Preparing detailed reports on expenditure, offering recommendations on materials and advising on future stock control strategies.
Working in the HQ to test products and gain customer feedback before sending new products on to other shops.
Overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and ensuring timely distribution of goods.
Job requirements:
Minimum one year experience in a Logistics Manager / Warehouse Manger role
Third level education degree
Knowledge of coffee shop industry and its specific logistical requirements
Ability to work a flexible schedule across 7 days of the week
Ability to work irregular shifts times to match up with orders coming into and from the HQ
Strong problem solving skills.
