Job Opportunity – Machine Operator (Loading Shovel)
We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled individual with a strong background in operating heavy machinery, specifically loading shovels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy plant equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily checks and basic maintenance of machinery
- Work as part of a team to meet project timelines and operational goals
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience operating loading shovels (essential) (Other machines are an advantage)
- Valid relevant plant/machine operating tickets or certifications
- Strong work ethic and commitment to health & safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Desirable:
- Experience working in a Material Recovery Facility or similar environment
