Full driving license required
Experience in a healthcare environment is an advantage
Experience in the maintenance and repair of general buildings and grounds is essential and may include
· Carpentry
· Painting
· Plumbing
· Electrical troubleshooting
· Gardening etc.
Experience in the construction industry an advantage
Participate in the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of all buildings, machinery, and equipment.
Participate in the maintenance of all gardens, patio areas, refuse collection area and upkeep of the boundary walls, fences, paths, and grounds
Manage an inventory record of parts and supplies, tools and equipment.
Conduct regular checks in compliance with HIQA standards
As the Nursing Home is a 24 hour service, may need to participate in any afterhours buildings related work, as deemed necessary by the management and/or responding to emergencies on site.
Operate within and promote all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Guidance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €15.00-€18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 per week
