Job Description:
Position Title: Materials Handler
Reporting To: Production Supervisor
Location: Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan
Hours of work: 40 Hours Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM
Reporting to Production Supervisor, you will work as part a team to handle materials in a safe and efficient manner at our site in Carrickmacross. You will be responsible for creating a seamless flow of materials to and from Production, Paint and Assembly.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Efficient and timely handling of all materials
- Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts
- Safely operate the Counterbalance FLT and Combilift Truck when manoeuvring across the site
- Loading and Unloading of Material from one part of production to the other
- Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
- Following Standard Work procedures
- General Housekeeping Duties
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Ticket
- IT literate – previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous
- Understanding of Safe working practices
