Montessori Teacher required from August 2025 in the Ballinteer Rathfarnham area. The position is Permanent Full Time working with children 3-5years
We are a well-established and authentic Montessori school based in the Ballinteer/Rathfarnham area. Our focus is on child-led learning in a nurturing, engaging environment with excellent teacher-to-child ratios (11:2). We are committed to maintaining a high standard of care and early education rooted in Montessori philosophy, while also aligning with Aistear and Siolta frameworks.
We are seeking a Montessor Teacher with a genuine passion for early years education and a love for the Montessori method. This leadership position involves both hands-on classroom work and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Montessori classroom in line with curriculum goals and Montessori principles
- Supervise and support staff to ensure quality learning experiences
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities
- Support the development and training of early years educators
- Organise teaching resources and ensure effective classroom management
- Maintain a safe, stimulating environment for children
- Ensure adherence to Aistear and Siolta standards
- Maintain daily communication and positive relationships with parents and management
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Montessori FETAC Level 6/8 Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
- Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and materials
- Familiarity with Aistear and Siolta frameworks
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential – full training and support provided
