We're looking for a Motion Graphics/Visual Effects artist to join us at Peninsula Television. Candidates must be able to create animated graphics such as Opening Graphics, maps, social media graphics (such as texts and facebook posts) and graphics for photographs that will be used in crime documentaries that will help bring our productions to life.
- Animation: Bringing static elements to life through 2D and 3D animation techniques.
- Visual Effects: Incorporating visual effects to enhance the overall aesthetic and narrative.
- Software Proficiency: Mastering industry-standard software like Adobe After Effects, and potentially others like Blender, Cinema 4D, or Houdini for 3D animation.
- Integration: Seamlessly integrating motion graphics with live-action video and other visual elements.
- Collaboration: Working with teams, including producers, directors, and other designers, to achieve project goals.
Skills and Qualities:
- Creativity and Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of animation software and other relevant tools.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to overcome technical challenges and develop creative solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication with clients and team members.
- Adaptability: Ability to work on diverse projects and adapt to different styles and requirements.
Candidates will be able to work at home/out of office.
