At O’Connor Woodwork we have a vacancy for a General Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be working on a number of commercial projects in the Leinster region. The work is often based in the commuter belt of Dublin. Current sites include Rathcoole and Lucan for example.
This is a good opportunity to get a start in the fitted furniture industry. Training will be provided but some experience of the construction industry is essential.
Pay will include wages and expenses for costs incurred getting to site. You will be joining a team of qualified fitters
The role will involve assisting the team fitting specialized joinery and fitted furniture on our sites. This is a site based role.
Job Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for
- Provide assistance to the fitters on site to ensure the job progresses as planned;
- Fitting to the highest standard, all units and joinery items supplied by our workshop.
- Meeting the deadlines required.
You will be working on projects such as:
- School Fit outs
- Primary Care Centers
- Office Fit outs
- IPS Paneling and Cubicles
Requirements:
- Some experience of working with fitted furniture or kitchens
- Experience of working from shop drawings
- Own transport is crucial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €38,000.00-€46,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
