Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled precast Machine Operator to join our team in Donegal. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various machinery, This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality Precast products while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.
Duties
- Operate and monitor precast machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Conduct materials handling, including the preparation and movement of raw materials and finished products.
- Assemble components accurately according to specifications, maintaining high quality standards.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, performing basic maintenance as required to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Carrying out any other reasonable request made by management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery effectively.
- Previous experience of working in a precast concrete manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
- Previous experience of operating counterbalance trucks.
- Experience with fabrication processes, assembly techniques, tooling, and welding is preferred.
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently while following operational guidelines.

Pay: €13.50-€18.66 per hour
