Job Title Production Supervisor

Location Greenfield Foods, Mullandava, Smithborough, Co. Monagahan H18Y Y33
Duties Include
- Assisting the Production Manager to oversee the all aspects of the egg packing operation.
- Supporting Production Supervisors in the operation of the grading machines
- Ensuring efficient throughput of eggs through the graders, including production planning, oversight of eggs inwards, packaging control and working in close collaboration with colleagues in packing, dispatch and quality control.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Ideally the successful candidate will have gained 3+ years’ experience in production supervisory/management.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in a FMCG/food environment.
- Previous experience working to food safety standards e.g. HACCP, BRC, Bord Bia and retailer and food service standards.
- An excellent team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, and proven leadership ability.
- The ability to solve problems under pressure.
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and be “hands on” when required.
- Fluent English is desirable in this role.
- A third level qualification in manufacturing, management or food related subject may also be desirable.
Working hours
- The factory operates 6 days per week and the role will involve 40-hour weeks, 5 days week with weekends on rotation as required. Overtime may be required during busy periods.
