The Opportunity


Join our Project Management team in Cork and contribute to impactful projects across Ireland and Europe. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career development and the chance to work on cutting-edge structural engineering projects.


As a Project Manager at Arup, you will:


  • Support the effective and efficient delivery of commissions, managing the performance of the technical team consisting of both internal and external project team resources.
  • Support management of stakeholders and the client expectations and relationship.
  • Deliver work to a high standard of client satisfaction and profitably for Arup.
  • Administer Project, Design and Site Team Meetings, workshops and reviews.
  • Support coordination and information management to/from stakeholders, project team, contractors.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for project management and a commitment to sustainable design. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:


  • Minimum of a degree qualification in engineering, construction or related field (or relevant equivalent qualification).
  • 4 - 8 years’ proven experience on project management.
  • Project management experience supporting teams on design and/or construction of building and/or infrastructure programmes/projects.

We also value:

  • International project management qualification, such as IPMA, APM PQ, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MS suite, project scheduling related computer skills utilizing Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, financial accounting, and spreadsheets.
