Ornua Ingredients is responsible for the procurement of Irish and non-Irish dairy products, for the sale of dairy ingredients to food manufacturing and foodservice customers across the world, and for managing volatility through de-risking and trading strategies. The business is supported by production facilities in the UK, Spain, the US, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria and by in-market teams in Africa and the Middle East.

W HY T HIS R OLE IS V ALUABLE
The Quality systems administrator will support the Quality Systems Manager in maintaining and continuously improving the company’s quality management system to ensure compliance with BRC Food Safety standards, legal requirements, and customer expectations. The role involves managing quality documentation, leading risk assessments, investigating customer complaints, and ensuring continuous audit readiness.
K EY A REAS OF R ESPONSIBILITY:
Administration and control all quality and food safety documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with BRC standards. Maintain document control systems and ensure timely review of policies, SOPs, and records. support site-wide risk assessments, including food safety, allergen control, and process risk analysis. Support the HACCP team in maintaining and validating food safety plans. Investigate and respond promptly and effectively to customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Support the site BRC, customer, and regulatory inspections. Support continuous improvement in quality systems and food safety culture. Work closely with production, technical, and operations teams to resolve issues and maintain compliance.
K EY R EQUIREMENTS :
Experience in a quality/technical role within the food manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of BRC Global Standard for Food Safety. Strong experience with document control and quality management systems. Understanding of HACCP principles and risk assessment techniques.
Desirable An Auditor qualification. HACCP Level 3 or above. Familiarity with SharePoint or Food Connected databases
