Aramark is looking to recruit a * Cleaning Supervisor* to join Aramark Workplace Solutions team. The Cleaning Supervisor will manage the Aramark service delivery on Cleaning Contracts with the West region. They will use their experience and skills to deliver services to the client in a cost effective and innovative way. Reporting directly to the National Soft Services Cleaning Manager, the role holder will manage a team of Cleaners.
This permanent position is based in The West Region . The right candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, and a desire to develop their career within a growth organisation.

Location: The West of Ireland from Galway to Limerick

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that all fortnightly and monthly timesheets are collated and returned by the appropriate deadlines and as per payroll Instructions.
• To ensure that all Aramark stock on site is properly managed and that all monthly stocktake reports are completed correctly.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used in the correct standard.
• Ensure colour coded equipment is provided and utilised on all sites
• To ensure all equipment is stored correctly and is in good working order and highlight areas of concern in this area.
• To ensure that any client queries are dealt with effectively and quickly.
• Arrange cover in absence of cleaners and mobile cleaning specialists.
• To ensure that the cleaning schedule for all areas is carried out satisfactorily.
• Ensure correct time keeping/attendance for all direct reports.
• To ensure that any site-specific security procedures are followed correctly.
• To meet with the National Soft Services Manager periodically as required with a prepared report updating on any issues that they have resolved or issues that need to be raised to a higher level.
• Host staff meetings and hold Health and Safety toolbox talks on a monthly basis.
• Deal with all staff performance, disciplinary issues in line with company procedures.
• Carry out Health and Safety Audits
• Identify opportunities for innovation on client sites and communicate these to the regional manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Cleaning Supervisory role
• Good standard of education
• A full clean driving licence
• Full BICS Training (Preferred)
• Excellent Personality and Customer Service Skills
• Strong IT skills to include the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
